Overview

In this role you help large, complex customers adopt the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You work with cross-functional teams to craft and execute engagement strategies that drive platform adoption and business outcomes. You act as a trusted advisor on data analytics architecture and adoption, shaping how customers solve data challenges at scale. You’ll contribute to the technical community and guide customers through transformational use of the Lakehouse platform. This role offers growth tracks in technical specialization, thought leadership, and leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with top-tier customers to guide adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
  • Co-create and execute engagement strategies with Account Executives and Solutions Architects
  • Coach account teams on positioning, adoption, and execution within defined timelines
  • Influence stakeholders across levels and ecosystems to align with the Databricks vision
  • Act as an expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and platform adoption
  • Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups for the technical community
  • Option to advance in tracks such as technical specialization, industry thought leadership, strategic vision, or people management
Key requirements
  • Ability to manage complex customer interactions and sales lifecycle in a technical pre-sales role
  • Technical background in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ML/AI
  • Experience with large customers across various industries and driving platform adoption
  • Autonomy in ambiguous environments and capability to influence decision-makers
  • Coding experience in Python or SQL and willingness to learn Spark
  • Hands-on experience with proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Ability to design technical solutions for specialized needs and navigate competition
  • Nice to have: Databricks Certification
  • Travel up to 60% to London offices and customer sites
