S&P Global

London · England · United Kingdom

About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use): 09 The Team

The EMEA Dividend Research team sits within the Equities division, part of a global group of 35+ experienced research analysts spanning New York, London, Shanghai, Singapore, and Delhi. We produce dividend forecasts using a rigorous, bottom-up research-led methodology that draws on financial statement analysis, company guidance, earnings calls, and peer benchmarking.

You will join a collaborative, intellectually driven environment where your analysis directly influences the investment and trading decisions of leading buy-side and sell-side institutions worldwide. This is a role for a detail-oriented, intellectually curious analyst who wants their work to matter in global markets.

Responsibilities and Impact

  • Forecast dividend payments across European and UK equities using bottom-up financial statement analysis, earnings call insights, market news, peer benchmarking, and historical distribution patterns - identifying early signals of changes to shareholder distributions.
  • Build and sustain institutional client relationships across buy-side and sell-side firms, responding to research enquiries and delivering insights that directly support trading and investment decisions.
  • Author client-facing research reports that highlight significant dividend developments, emerging sector trends, and market shifts across your European and UK coverage universe.
  • Develop and enhance financial models to improve forecast accuracy, estimate quality, and operational efficiency - contributing to team-wide projects that strengthen analytical infrastructure.
  • Partner with sales and product teams on initiatives to grow revenue through targeted client engagement and to enhance the product experience in collaboration with technical specialists.
  • Collaborate across S&P Global - working with research and data teams globally to generate new research ideas and maintaining direct dialogue with company contacts to deepen understanding of dividend policies and financial positions.
