As Technical Architect, you design and oversee robust, scalable WMS-focused technology solutions that align with business goals. You will lead techno-functional WMS implementations and ensure seamless integrations with ERP and planning systems. You collaborate with PMs, development and consulting teams to drive design decisions, standards, and governance. Your work supports secure, high-performance operations across Europe as part of Blue Yonder’s growth in the EMEA Centre of Excellence. Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end technical implementation of Blue Yonder WMS and integrations from design to go-live
  • Collaborate with project manager, development and consulting teams; provide status and planning inputs
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Development Services, Cloud, etc.)
  • Define and maintain system architecture standards for scalability, security, and performance
  • Hands-on technical work with WMS and integration with host systems (ERP, Replenishment Planning)
  • Translate functional requirements into technical designs; communicate with stakeholders
  • Support project planning, resource allocation, and technical risk management
Key requirements
  • 8+ years work experience
  • Proven techno-functional leadership of Blue Yonder WMS implementations
  • Domain knowledge of supply chain organization; strong system integration leadership
  • Experience in data governance, error handling, monitoring and architecture design
  • Technical hands-on with WMS; integrations with ERP and planning systems
  • Programming fundamentals; PowerShell or shell scripting; Python; SQL/PLSQL
  • SQL databases: Oracle RDBMS, SQL Server; basics of DBA; SQL performance tuning
  • Windows and Linux OS familiarity; Azure knowledge a plus; Snowflake is a plus
  • BY Platform and BYDM knowledge is a strong asset
  • Strong communication, leadership and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
