SSH & Linux Engineer - Contract

Working model: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Contract: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced SSH & Linux Engineer to join a specialist engineering team supporting secure access and privileged infrastructure within a large enterprise environment.

The role will focus on SSH security, Linux administration, privileged access tooling, discovery and automation , with responsibility for maintaining reliable and secure access across the estate.

You should have strong hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix, SSH keys and certificates, SSH configuration, Bash/Python Scripting, Ansible/Terraform, PAM/IAM, RBAC, databases, CI/CD tooling and ServiceNow .

Experience with PrivX, Venafi TPP, SSH key discovery/remediation tooling or financial-services environments would be highly desirable.

Candidates should have strong practical experience in both SSH engineering and Linux infrastructure support .
