Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Location: Gig Harbor, WA | Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week) Compensation: $65,000–$82,000 annually CV Resources is partnering with a multi-entity client in Gig Harbor on their search for a Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation, along with experience supporting multiple companies or legal entities. What You'll Do Support general ledger accounting and financial reporting across multiple entities. Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are recorded appropriately. Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other day-to-day accounting activities as needed. Help research and resolve account discrepancies and maintain organized supporting documentation. Collaborate with internal team members and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely reporting. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency. Learn new systems and processes while taking on additional responsibilities as the organization grows. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience in general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Prior multi-entity or multi-company accounting experience is strongly preferred. Understanding of month-end close procedures, journal entries, and fundamental accounting principles. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with a variety of stakeholders. A proactive attitude, curiosity, and a genuine desire to learn and grow professionally. Experience with Yardi or other accounting/ERP systems is a plus.
