  • This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate, timely financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Complete bank reconciliations
  • Complete balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable with customer setup, inquiries, and reviewing of subledgers and aged balances
  • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits, tax filings, and internal reporting
  • GST/PST filings and other regulatory reporting requirements
  • Review general ledger accounts and investigate variances
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries
  • Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Help improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting questions and support operational needs

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation or active progress toward CPA certification is preferred
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines independently
  • 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with GST/PST
  • Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP software
