Staff Accountant Accounts Payable Receivable

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations as a Staff Accountant with Oak View Group in live entertainment.

This Staff Accountant supports OVG’s venue operations through accurate billing, recurring revenue tracking, and financial close activities. The role requires progressive accounting experience, knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, and proficiency with Excel and an ERP or accounting system. You will work with operations, ticketing, box office, and hospitality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee invoice coding, approvals, and vendor inquiries
• Manage billing, deposits, collections, and recurring revenue schedules
• Review aging reports and follow up on overdue balances
• Maintain vendor and customer master data
• Support HST and indirect tax reporting

Requirements:

• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation experience
• Accounting, Finance, or related post-secondary degree or diploma
• Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and close processes
• Excel and ERP or accounting system proficiency
