Staff Applications Engineer

Lead a distributed applications engineering team to enable partners building Arm-based edge AI solutions. You will directly contribute technically while aligning support with product strategy and partner needs. The role combines firmware and software expertise with cross-functional collaboration to accelerate innovation and deliver high-impact customer outcomes. You’ll mentor engineers, shape training, and engage with product management to drive technology advancement.

• Recruit, lead and mentor a geographically distributed team of 5-10 engineers
• Collaborate with hardware and ML application engineering peers and cross-functional teams
• Define, plan and manage support deliverables including training materials
• Engage with product management to align support with product strategy and partner needs
• Provide support for firmware and software issues on Arm-based systems
• Deliver customer training sessions and support major customer milestones
• Travel occasionally to Arm sites and partner locations

• 10+ years in firmware/software development
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Deep understanding of SoC architecture
• Experience debugging from firmware to OS/application layers
• Solid grasp of Arm processor architecture
• Experience leading teams, direct and indirect
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
