You will design and operate self-service systems, reduce toil through automation, and help adopt AI-driven software development lifecycle models safely. The work spans coding, review, testing, security, compliance, and delivery pipelines. Key Responsibilities:
Design and operate golden-path systems for engineers Eliminate developer toil through automation and productized tooling Implement AI-assisted coding, review, testing, and agentic workflows Evaluate AI impacts on speed, quality, and satisfaction Partner with security, CI/CD, and application engineering teams Requirements:
Seven-plus years of software engineering experience Three-plus years in platform engineering or developer experience Experience operating opinionated systems at engineering scale Understanding of AI-driven SDLC risks and governance Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Bring platform engineering, automation, AI-driven SDLC, and developer experience expertise to Equinix’s Developer Experience team.
