Staff DevOps Engineer AWS Terraform

Lead AWS, Terraform, and platform reliability at Terawatt Infrastructure, supporting large-scale electric vehicle charging infrastructure across North America.

As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will guide DevOps and platform engineering direction for Terawatt’s charging network management system. You will scale cloud infrastructure, improve reliability and maintainability, and support internal tools and AI platforms. The work spans Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, security, and production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set DevOps direction and mentor platform engineering contributors
• Architect resilient AWS infrastructure with Terraform
• Build GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling
• Advance observability using OpenTelemetry and Grafana Cloud
• Lead incident response and blameless postmortems during on-call rotation

Requirements:

• 8+ years operating high-availability production systems
• Deep AWS, EKS, and Terraform experience
• Experience with CI/CD and observability platforms
• Experience leading DevOps, SRE, or platform initiatives
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
