Staff Enterprise Systems Engineer

Set technical direction for Fullscript’s Enterprise Systems with system design and hands-on software engineering across a flexible work model.

As a Staff Engineer, you will guide the technology layer connecting e-commerce, ERP, finance, demand planning, and warehouse management systems. You will combine deep engineering expertise with systems thinking while influencing organization-wide technical decisions. The work spans architecture, integrations, reliability, scalability, security, and software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own architecture, design decisions, and technical direction
• Lead complex initiatives while balancing delivery and platform health
• Plan and review systems, workflows, and design decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders, Product, Engineering, and Security
• Contribute directly to code and mentor developers

Requirements:

• Deep experience with high-scale web applications and SaaS systems
• Strong system design and trade-off reasoning skills
• Experience with back-end integrations and cross-functional partnerships
• Seven-plus years using Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Interest in platform, infrastructure, security, or AI productivity tools
