Staff Experimentation Platform Engineer

Lead experimentation infrastructure at Faire from Kitchener-Waterloo or Toronto, applying software engineering and analytics expertise in a hybrid workplace.

This Staff Engineer role suits a highly experienced technical leader focused on experimentation infrastructure. You will shape technical vision, guide adoption across organizational boundaries, and balance hands-on development with leadership. The work supports product teams, data scientists, Strategy and Analytics, and other experiment users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define company-wide experimentation and measurement strategy
• Build the Eppo-powered centralized experimentation platform roadmap
• Develop lifecycle, governance, and self-service experimentation standards
• Partner with Strategy and Analytics, Product Management, and Data Science
• Establish experiment design, metric, and interpretation patterns

Requirements:

• Extensive software engineering and experimentation infrastructure experience
• Expertise designing and scaling SaaS experimentation platforms
• Deep understanding of A/B, multivariate testing, and progressive delivery
• Experience with Eppo or experimentation platforms
• Strong SQL and scalable analytical data modeling skills
