Staff Product Designer AI Systems

Shape AI-enabled product experiences as a Staff Product Designer at Samsara, working remotely from Canada with web and mobile expertise. Define patterns that guide products serving physical operations worldwide.

As a Staff Product Designer, you will set vision and ship work influencing customers and internal teams. You will lead ambiguous initiatives across product areas, partner with Product and Engineering leaders, and build relationships with strategic customers. The work spans interaction design, visual systems, AI tools, and design systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives from problem framing through launch and iteration
• Define interaction patterns and visual systems for designers
• Engage strategic customers and incorporate their perspectives
• Use AI tools throughout the design process
• Ship code across design systems, web products, and mobile apps

Requirements:

• 10+ years designing UX/UI for web and mobile applications
• Portfolio showing quantified impact across product areas or platforms
• Deep interaction and visual design skills
• Regular use of AI tools, including shipped attributable work
• Experience mentoring designers and partnering with senior leadership
