Staff Security Engineer

In this role you advance the security framework for Wayve's internal platform and SPINE, leading security controls and tooling. You will collaborate with the central Security team to align measures with policy, and mentor engineers while driving security improvements. The position focuses on endpoint, identity, and platform security at scale, shaping a safer, compliant security posture. You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with broad autonomy and meaningful impact.

• Lead endpoint and identity security systems across SPINE with continuous control improvements
• Deploy and manage security tooling, automation, and infrastructure-as-code solutions for scalability
• Identify and remediate systemic security gaps using data to track KPIs
• Collaborate with Security and other stakeholders to align measures with compliance and policy
• Mentor engineers and provide technical security leadership across the organization

• Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-policy approaches
• Strong Linux systems experience and endpoint/device management background
• Familiarity with identity and access systems and device/access controls
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
