Staff Security Engineer, Bot & Traffic Defence

Faire is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to own bot, scraping, and application‑layer DDoS defence for a high‑traffic marketplace. You will define technical direction, implement controls, and collaborate across Security, Platform, and Anti‑Abuse to reduce risk while preserving legitimate user access.

You will code, operate edge tooling, and mentor engineers while measuring signals, incident response, and risk metrics to inform leadership decisions.
