Remote Canada opportunity for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer skilled in software development, production systems, and operational problem-solving. Support Firefox engineering through reliable tools and systems.

Mozilla seeks an experienced, versatile software engineer for internal engineering systems, developer tooling, workflow automation, and infrastructure. You will deploy and operate production systems while helping teams establish sustainable standards, patterns, and automation. Open-source contribution is an important part of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, deploy, and operate Firefox engineering systems
• Develop CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted tools
• Improve reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency
• Use telemetry and metrics to guide engineering decisions
• Shape architecture and technical strategy across teams

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Production systems experience in cloud environments
• Infrastructure as code experience, including Terraform
• Experience across CI/CD, containers, networking, or observability
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools
