Overview
In this Staff Software Engineer role, you design and deliver high-performance cloud services that power SailPoint’s identity platform. You will build resilient full-stack solutions using Golang and Angular, and develop both synchronous and event-driven microservices. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to translate identity governance concepts into secure, scalable production systems. You’ll drive technical excellence through architecture reviews, profiling, and mentorship. This is a chance to shape AI-assisted, agentic development workflows within a fast-moving UK Platform Engineering team.

- Bachelor in related field or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven backend microservice design and development experience (Golang)
- Strong frontend experience (Angular)
- Solid automated testing and debugging foundation (unit/integration/performance)
- Experience building scalable microservices in a distributed SaaS cloud environment
