As a Staff Software Engineer in Belfast, you will provide technical leadership within a cross-functional team, shaping architecture and delivering features for a high-transaction, mission-critical platform. You’ll mentor engineers, collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders, and contribute to scalable, robust services in a modern CI/CD environment. The role balances hands-on development with strategic direction to ensure performance and reliability at scale. You will work to drive engineering excellence and cross-team collaboration, aligning with the company’s mission to deliver resilient platforms.

- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong server-side development with C# / .NET
- Experience designing and implementing scalable web or service-based solutions
- Relational databases experience (SQL Server or equivalent)
- Experience with CI/CD environments (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo)
- Strong automated testing background (unit testing, BDD)
- Understanding of software design principles, OOP, refactoring, design patterns
- Experience in Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must be based in Northern Ireland or within commuting distance of Belfast with UK work rights
