Overview
As Staff Software Engineer in the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team, you own complex, multi-month initiatives and drive end-to-end delivery. You will lead technical designs, promote best practices, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to resolve challenges. You will write high-performance, scalable code and mentor others while shaping ADM’s product and infrastructure direction. This role offers scope to work on AI-powered data products that enhance transparency and efficiency in private markets.
Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery of complex ADM initiatives spanning multiple teams
- Lead architectural designs for new products and workflows aligned with long-term strategy
- Solicit feedback, build consensus, and unblock dependencies
- Write high-performance, scalable code and frameworks
- Promote engineering best practices and serve as a technical point of contact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex application and infrastructure issues
- Mentor engineers and guide their technical development
- Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and architectural direction to stakeholders
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Extensive software engineering experience
- Proven track record of leading technical initiatives from design through delivery
- Ability to work independently with a bias for action
- Strong ownership mentality and problem-solving drive
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with financial services or wealth management operations
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience with AWS or another cloud platform
- Experience with IaC (infrastructure as code), preferably Terraform
- Experience with gen AI for coding
