Staff Software Engineer, Integrations

As a Staff Backend Software Engineer in the Portfolio Data Workflows team, you design and maintain critical API services for our financial data ecosystem and help modernize architecture for European expansion. You will shape platform decisions, ensure scalable solutions, and work across regions to boost user experiences while complying with financial regulations. You lead technical direction, mentor peers, and collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes. This role offers technial leadership in transforming how clients interact with financial data.

• Design, develop, and implement robust API services for European customers
• Lead architecture designs and product roadmap
• Research and adopt new technologies and best practices
• Analyze complex ecosystem requirements and drive change
• Mentor and empower engineers to maintain a high-performing team culture
• Contribute to code reviews and technical designs
• Debug and troubleshoot across the application stack
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team

• Extensive software development experience with backend services
• Deep knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and SDLC
• Ability to influence technical direction and architecture of distributed systems
• Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems
• Rapid learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Mentoring experience and collaboration with senior peers
• Experience building services with Java, SQL and AWS
• Elasticsearch is a nice-to-have
• Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment
• Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management
