Staff Software Engineer - React, Typescript

As Staff Software Engineer at Experian, you will shape frontend architecture and guide multiple teams toward scalable, secure software solutions. You’ll drive AI-enabled engineering practices and oversee governance through architecture boards. You’ll collaborate with product, design, data, and engineering leaders to influence roadmaps, mentor engineers, and lead by example in a hands-on, high-impact role.

• Lead design and evolution of scalable, secure software across multiple teams
• Act as technical authority for front-end architecture and strategy
• Represent engineering in architecture boards and governance forums
• Promote engineering best practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability
• Embed AI-driven engineering practices across the SDLC
• Drive experimentation, optimization, and testing to improve outcomes
• Mentor and coach engineers through technical leadership and collaboration
• Remain hands-on when needed and lead by example
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering to influence direction and roadmaps

• Staff Engineer/Principal Engineer/Lead Engineer level with track record delivering complex solutions at scale
• Expert-level React and TypeScript skills with frontend architecture experience across multiple teams
• Experience applying AI in software development, including tooling, prompt engineering, AI service integration, data connectivity, and adoption across teams
• Excellent influencing and mentoring abilities; experience representing engineering in governance forums and design discussions
