In this role you will help build foundational Safeguards systems that monitor AI models, prevent misuse, and protect users. You will work on scalable infrastructure for data, metrics, and human/agentic review to uphold safety and transparency. You’ll enable real-time improvements to model safety with robust defenses and operate across the technology stack. This position offers the chance to shape responsible AI at scale within a collaborative, impact-driven team. - Develop foundational Safeguards systems including data storage, metrics, evaluation tooling
- Operate Safeguards systems with high reliability to balance safety and customer needs
- Build multi-layered defenses for real-time safety improvements at scale
- Collaborate across teams to maintain safety and oversight
- Contribute to tooling for human and agentic review
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable experience
- 4-10+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Ability to work across the stack
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
