Staff Software Engineer, Traffic Platform & Load Balancer

GitHub is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Traffic Team. You will lead technical decisions, design scalable load-balancing solutions, and mentor engineers across a global, remote-first engineering organization.

You will write and review code primarily in Go and Ruby on Rails, improve rate-limiting and routing, and maintain GitHub's Load Balancer and traffic systems to serve millions of developers worldwide.
