Staff/Principal Data Engineer - up to £220k - Stealth Start up

Oliver Bernard are currently partnered with one of the most exciting stealth start-ups in London, building the infrastructure behind the next generation of AI.

This is a genuine Staff / Principal opportunity for someone who wants to shape architecture, set technical direction and remain deeply hands-on.

You’ll be joining early to:

• Own the technical direction of core data infrastructure
• Design and build scalable data platforms from the ground up
• Solve complex problems around scale, reliability, security & cost
• Influence engineers and raise the technical bar
• Stay hands-on with code and production systems
• Work across Data, Platform, Software & AI

You could be a great fit if you have:

• Deep Software & Data Engineering fundamentals
• A track record owning complex production systems end-to-end
• Experience shaping architecture across multiple systems
• Excellent technical judgement and architectural instincts
• Experience leading major technical initiatives as an IC
• AI/ML experience is a bonus, not essential
