Overview

In this role you act as a strategic partner helping enterprises transform software delivery, security, and AI adoption. You combine advisory leadership with hands-on delivery, shaping platform strategies, architecture, and transformation roadmaps. You collaborate with engineering leaders and executives to drive productivity, governance, and security at scale across CloudBees solutions. The role offers exposure to AI-driven delivery and modern software factories, with flexible remote or onsite engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Act as trusted advisor to define and execute software delivery, platform engineering, and AI adoption strategies
  • Collaborate with engineering leaders and executives to align tech initiatives with business outcomes
  • Assess current capabilities and develop transformation roadmaps to improve productivity, security, and efficiency
  • Design modern DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and AI-enabled delivery architectures
  • Lead discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and strategic engagements
  • Build proofs of concept, reference architectures, and pilots to demonstrate value
  • Guide adoption of AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation
  • Influence adoption and success plans to maximize value from CloudBees solutions
  • Represent customer voice to influence product strategy and roadmap
  • Communicate effectively with engineers to executives and travel for customer workshops
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in consulting, solutions architecture, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles
  • Proven advisory experience on DevSecOps, software delivery modernization, platform engineering, or cloud transformation
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, IaC, GitOps, observability, security, and cloud-native architectures
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable DevSecOps and platform engineering solutions in enterprises
  • Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Python, Shell, Go, Java, or similar
  • Experience with CloudBees, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Harness, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering workflows and intelligent automation
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business outcomes
