Strategic Technology Partner Manager

In this role you will shape strategic technology supplier partnerships to drive performance, innovation and value creation. You will work across Technology, Procurement, Finance and Legal to influence senior stakeholders and vendor executives. You will lead governance, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement to enhance colleague and customer experiences. This is a high-impact role focused on long-term partnerships, sustainability and technology-driven transformation. You will help build resilient supplier ecosystems that support Primark’s business goals and ethical standards.

• Develop and execute supplier strategies aligned with business goals and long-term value creation
• Build and manage strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers
• Lead supplier governance activities (QBRs, performance reviews, scorecards) and engage executives
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs, SLAs and contracts; drive improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities for innovation and co-creation to improve customer and colleague experiences
• Support commercial activities including contract negotiations, renewals, risk management and capacity planning
• Champion sustainability, supplier diversity, CSR initiatives, and compliance with security, regulatory and ethical standards

• 5+ years in a complex technology environment with supplier or vendor management
• Experience managing strategic technology suppliers and outsourced service providers
• Strong commercial acumen in contract negotiations, governance and performance management
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
• Degree qualification or equivalent experience
