Stretch Blow Molding Applications Specialist

This Advanced Applications Specialist develops practical solutions across injection molding, PET and rPET materials, reheating, stretch blow molding, and package performance. The position requires application development, process optimization, technology evaluation, and technical decision-making. You will collaborate with customers, business development, Advantage+Elite, Product Development, and Validation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze relationships across materials, processes, technologies, and package performance
• Execute experiments improving processing methods, controls, quality, and equipment effectiveness
• Evaluate stretch blow molding technologies, applications, and packaging trends
• Plan technical investigations, trials, recommendations, and documentation independently
• Travel internationally for customer line trials and validation activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, plastics, polymer engineering, or related discipline
• Five to ten-plus years of related industry experience
• Advanced understanding of rheology, polymer properties, processing, and package design
• Experience in plastics processing or packaging application development
• Strong English communication, problem-solving, organization, and collaboration skills
