Build backend services and APIs at Stripe Radar, using strong coding skills to help detect fraud and abuse across global payments.

As a software engineer on Radar, you will build products and infrastructure for fraud prevention. Your work spans backend services, enterprise APIs, and user experiences. You will partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build reliable, low-latency fraud prevention services at scale
  • Design APIs and dashboards for investigating threats
  • Develop shared Radar platform infrastructure
  • Partner with ML engineers on production capabilities
  • Own projects through rollout, measurement, and iteration

Requirements:

  • Two or more years of industry software engineering experience
  • Strong coding skills in any programming language
  • Experience building and maintaining production software
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar codebases and make technical trade-offs
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
