Structured Credit Analyst Toronto

Analyze Collateralized Loan Obligations at Fitch Ratings in Toronto, using proprietary models and credit analysis within a hybrid work environment.

As an Analyst in Fitch Ratings’ Structured Credit group, you will support ratings for new and existing CLO transactions. Your work will involve transaction analysis, model review, document assessment, and rating research. You will collaborate with senior team members and participate in credit committee processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze new and existing CLO ratings using proprietary models
• Support transaction analysis and model review
• Review documents to assess transaction credit risks
• Present rating conclusions to credit committees
• Draft rating action commentaries and research publications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related quantitative field
• At least one year of financial-sector experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent communication and active listening abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
