This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon .
The Supervisor, IT Support oversees the IT support team and day-to-day operations. This includes triaging tickets in the Halo system, scheduling on-site work, managing all department cellular devices, re-organizing always changing priorities, hardware management, and ensuring staff have the tools required for success.

- Considerable experience in IT support roles
- Considerable experience in a supervisory or team lead role, within an IT setting
- Experience in managing and coordinating IT projects
Desired knowledge, skills and suitability
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of IT support professionals;
- Ability to create and maintain documentation related to IT support processes and procedures;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users;
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and determine effective solutions; and
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities.
This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Travel to communities, as required
- Required to sit a desk for extended periods of time
- Working in tight spaces and/or awkward positions setting up workstations
