Assignment Details
• Start: As soon as credentialed
• End: July 31, 2027
• Setting: Inpatient with limited outpatient clinic coverage
• Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call
• Patient volume: Approximately 10 Äì12 patients per shift
• Admissions required
• APP supervision required
• No resident or teaching supervision
Schedule and Call
• Beeper call for assigned and unassigned cardiovascular surgical patients
• Required response time: 20 minutes
• Call frequency is listed as 10 Äì14; exact cadence will need facility confirmation
• Clinic coverage may be required based on patient volume
• Anticipated clinic responsibility is fewer than 10 hours per week
Clinical Scope
• Urgent and emergent cardiovascular surgical coverage
• Management of established and unassigned surgical patients
• Outpatient cardiovascular surgery follow-up when needed
• General and vascular surgical capabilities are preferred
Requirements
• Board certified in Cardiovascular Surgery
• Active Arkansas license or IMLC eligibility
• Current ACLS
• Hospital credentialing and privileges required
• Ability to supervise advanced practice providers
Credentialing
• Approximately 90 days
• Temporary privileges available
• Vendor-provided malpractice insurance
