Locums CV Surgeon coverage is needed in Joplin, Missouri for initial coverage dates including holiday coverage from December 18, 2026-early Jan 2026.
Coverage needs are ongoing for 1-2 wks/month throughout 2027.
Assignment Details:
Flights, malpractice coverage, rental vehicle, and mileage reimbursement will be provided.

Assignment Details:
- Rates : highly negotiable daily rate (holiday rate is standard 1.5x)
- CABG cases annually : Approximately 130 (TAVR cases similar in volume)
- Schedule : 6 to 8 working hrs/day combined with inpatient surgical call
- Heart team : 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 EP Cardiologist, 2 General Cardiologists, and 2 Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgeons
- CV OR team : Anesthesia, perfusion, and CVICU support
- CVORs : 1 hybrid room, 2 dedicated ORs equipped with DaVinci Xi technology
- Shared call model
- APP support: APPs are rounding, assisting with consults
- EVH: SFAs will harvest vein
- EMR : Phasing into Epic
- Trauma Level : II
