Surgery - General Physician

Seeking an experienced andmotivated Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Physician to join a collaborative,high-performing trauma team in Visalia, California. This Level III TraumaCenter manages approximately 2,200 annual trauma activations and provides comprehensiveinpatient, consultative, and perioperative care. The physician will workalongside attending surgeons, residents, and intensivists to deliverhigh-quality trauma and emergency surgical services across the ICU and surgicalwards.

Compensation : $400,000-500,000

• Level III Trauma Center
• Approximately 2,200 annual trauma activations
• Comprehensive inpatient, consultative, and perioperative care
• Collaborative team of surgeons, residents, intensivists, and advanced practice providers
• Practice across the ICU and surgical wards

• Evaluate and manage trauma patients and emergency general surgery cases.
• Provide inpatient, consultative, and perioperative surgical care.
• Assess critically ill and injured patients in the ICU and surgical wards.
• Perform emergency surgical procedures and operative interventions as clinically indicated.
• Participate in patient rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, residents, intensivists, and advanced practice providers.
• Support appropriate patient stabilization, transfer, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality care.

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Active California medical license.
