What You ll Do

• Provide emergent neurosurgical care including spinal and cranial procedures
• Support inpatient rounding and admits at a hospital with on-site imaging, lab, OR, and procedure rooms
• Manage 5-10 inpatients daily, including emergent surgeries and follow-ups
• Respond to emergent call coverage, including weekends and holidays, with on-call responsibilities
• Collaborate with a team of neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, and advanced practice providers
• Use Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certification in Neurosurgery (no BE)
• Ability to perform both spinal and cranial procedures
• Active Michigan medical license or eligibility

Preferred:

• Experience in hospital-based neurosurgical care
• Ability to handle emergent neurosurgical cases
• Available for multiple shifts and blocks throughout October to November 2026
