General Surgery Locums Job in Colorado 24 Hour Call Beginning December 1 - Ongoing Assignment

December 16 (7a) - December 24 (7a)
Ongoing dates begin January when schedules are released
Credentialing time frame: 60-90 days
Shift Details
24-hour call coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Volume: 6-10 shifts per month
Average Callback Hours: 4.5 Hours
Requirements
Board Certified in General Surgery
Active Colorado license or active IMLC LOQ in hand at time of submission
Active ATLS
Minimum 2 years of experience
Clean malpractice and background history
Locan Candidate - Highly Preferred
Active BLS - Highly Preferred
Active DEA - Highly Preferred (required for credentialing; transferred DEA must be maintained for duration of assignment)
Required Procedures / Skills
Bread and Butter General Surgery
Potential for emergent endoscopies
Assignment Details
Practice setting: Inpatient (Level 4 Trauma Center, 25 beds)
Daily census / admissions: 0-1
Patient population: Adolescent, adult, geriatric
EMR: Epic
