Call-only general surgery coverage at a hospital in the Wilson, NC area over Thanksgiving weekend: five 24-hour shifts, 7a to 7a, from Thursday November 26 through Monday November 30. Inpatient call with admissions and rounding on unassigned patients, an onsite call room or local hotel, and Meditech. The assignment may continue into late December while the hospital completes a permanent search.
Pay is $2,500 per 24-hour call day. Callback pays $300/hr whenever you are called in, on top of the call pay. Travel is covered. Credentialing takes 3 to 4 days with temporary privileges available.
