Surgery - General Physician

General Surgeon - West Branch, Michigan

Clinical Role:

• Full-time permanent General Surgeon opportunity

• Seeking an experienced surgeon or graduating general surgery resident

• Provide a full scope of general surgery services, including outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and operating room procedures

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

• Call: 1:3 rotation

• Potential satellite coverage in Tawas and/or Gladwin

• Reason for Recruitment: Replacement of departing physician

Requirements:

• U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Completed residency in General Surgery

• Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Michigan medical license

• Michigan Controlled Substance License required

Practice Information:

• Full-scope general surgery practice

• Combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and operating room responsibilities

• Potential opportunity to provide services at additional regional locations
