Physician - General Surgery

Job Details:

• Perform elective and emergency general surgery procedures
• Provide surgical call coverage, rounding, and inpatient consultations
• Evaluate and manage acute surgical cases presenting to the Emergency Department
• Deliver comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative surgical care
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the Epic EHR system
• Provide daytime coverage, weeknight, weekend, and holiday call availability based on departmental need
• Work on a per-diem, as-needed basis with flexible scheduling
• Must hold a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Must have successfully completed an accredited General Surgery Residency program
• Must hold a current, unrestricted Medical License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery (ABMS or AOA) required
• Active Federal DEA and MCSR registrations required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
