"Physician Assistant, Cardiovascular Surgery Opening in Munster, INLocated in Munster, IN; Chicago 35mOverview The medical group is hiring a full time Physician Assistant for Cardiovascular Surgery in a cardiovascular surgery office Schedule: days and evenings plus call, Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30, 80+ hours per pay period (1.0 FTE) Call: 1:6 weekend rounding and 1:4 OR call Locations: Munster, IN and East Chicago, IN Prior direct PA work experience preferredQualifications Graduate of an ARC-PA approved PA program, with current NCCPA certification Current active Indiana PA license Board certification required to be granted hospital privileges Current BLS, plus ACLS and/or ATLS for PAs working in surgery 1 to 2 years of experience as a PA Strong time management, communication and emergency response skillsAbout the area Munster is in Lake County, Northwest Indiana, about 35 miles from Chicago A health system serving Northwest Indiana"
