What You ll Do:

• Provide inpatient and acute care in a neurosurgery setting, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Support surgical care, including suturing, ICP monitor placement, lumbar drains, and lumbar punctures
• Participate in rounds prior to clinic hours and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MDs, RN, and MAs
• Document patient encounters using Epic EMR
• Manage adult patients with complex neurosurgical needs
• Assist with primary surgical procedures and wound care

What You Need:

• BC in Neurosurgery and active South Carolina medical license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in neurosurgery or related field
• Strong procedural skills including surgical care and diagnostic procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:
This assignment provides support in a busy neurosurgery department with a team of 6 MDs, 1 RN, and 4 MAs. The role involves handling complex neurosurgical cases for adult patients, with a focus on acute care and surgical procedures, utilizing the Epic EMR system.
