Position Highlights

  • Start: September 2026
  • 26-week locum assignment with extension potential
  • Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • No call, nights, or weekends
  • 100% Operating Room First Assist
  • Adult patient population
  • Average of 2 3 surgical cases per day
  • First assist with General Surgery service lines including Urology, Urologic Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Endocrine Surgery, and Otology
  • Mix of open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures (robotics varies by service)
  • No clinic, rounding, consults, or inpatient management
  • Competitive compensation plus travel and lodging provided (if applicable)

Requirements

  • Board-certified PA-C or NP with First Assist experience
  • Active Texas license or pending at the time of submission
  • General Surgery/OR First Assist experience required
