Surgery - General Physician Assistant

We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant to join a collaborative team at a Level III Trauma Center in Marysville, California. This high-acuity center provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of orthopedic trauma. The advanced practice provider will work closely with the on-call surgeon to support inpatient care, new consultations, outpatient clinic visits, and surgical procedures.
Schedule & Compensation

• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Schedule: Daily coverage, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Call Requirements: No after-hours call
• Compensation: $720 per shift
• Scheduling: Flexible, full-time, shift-based structure

Responsibilities

• Round with the on-call Ortho trauma surgeon and assist with ongoing patient management.
• Evaluate and manage new orthopedic trauma consultations.
• Participate in outpatient clinic visits and follow-up care.
• Assist in the operating room with orthopedic trauma procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Licensed Physician Assistant.
• Current California state medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and collaborative patient care.
• Previous orthopedic surgery experience preferred.
