Locums Trauma Surgery NP/PA Richland, WA (active WA license) Why This Role

• Two providers needed
• Two weeks of coverage per month
• No call responsibilities
• Twelve-hour inpatient shifts

Assignment Details
• Start: January 4, 2027
• Duration: Ongoing
• Setting: Inpatient trauma surgery
• Coverage commitment: Approximately 7 Äì14 shifts per month
• Patient volume: Approximately 20 patients per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Adult Level II trauma facility
• Level III pediatric trauma program
January Coverage
• January 4 Äì10: 7:00 AM Äì7:00 PM
• January 18 Äì24: 7:00 AM Äì7:00 PM
Ongoing Schedule
• Two weeks per month
• Twelve-hour shifts
• Day shift: 7:00 AM Äì7:00 PM
• Night shift: 7:00 PM Äì7:00 AM
• Providers must be willing to cover either day or night openings
• No call
Clinical Scope
• Inpatient trauma and general surgery coverage
• Assigned and unassigned patient rounding
• Adult and pediatric trauma consultations
• Support for pediatric surgical cases
• May participate in procedures including endoscopic appendectomy
• Pediatric volume is fewer than 20 cases per month
Requirements
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Washington license
• Active DEA
• Current ACLS and ATLS certifications
• Trauma or general surgery experience
• Comfortable and clinically competent consulting on pediatric cases
• Able to provide two weeks of coverage per month
• Current CV required with submission

• Estimated timeframe: Approximately 90 days
