SysOps / DevOps Engineer

Salary: £38,000 - 78,000 per year
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, system administration, and deployment workflows
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure, networking, and private network connectivity
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including security principles
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
- Understanding of web hosting platforms such as IIS and Nginx
- Familiarity with high-availability or real-time systems; experience in financial services environments is advantageous
- Exposure to or interest in AI-assisted tooling for scripting, automation, or monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and scale both cloud infrastructure and on-premise environments
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Maintain secure and resilient network infrastructure, including connectivity with third-party providers
- Ensure platform reliability through effective alerting and incident response
- Monitor system performance and collaborate with QA and technical teams to drive continuous improvement
- Support efficient development and release practices alongside engineering and product teams
- Troubleshoot production issues in a time-sensitive environment
- Implement automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevOps practices, tooling, and standards
- Explore and leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and monitoring capabilities
- Provide support for global users across multiple time zones
