System Administrator Server Infrastructure

Support server infrastructure and business operations as a System Administrator I with ACT Energy Technologies. Troubleshoot escalated issues across enterprise systems.

This System Administrator I position supports file servers, domain controllers, Exchange, SQL, and assigned infrastructure. You will maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments, administer user access, and assist with systems projects. The work includes scripting or light programming, second- and third-tier troubleshooting, and guidance for Tier 1 staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage file servers, domain controllers, Exchange, SQL, and infrastructure
• Maintain system updates, infrastructure health, reliability, and availability
• Administer user accounts and network resource access
• Develop and manage backup and recovery systems
• Assist Helpdesk support and guide Tier 1 staff

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in computer science or related field
• Two to three or more years administering systems or networks
• Hands-on server software and hardware troubleshooting experience
• Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra experience
• VMware, Hyper-V, TCP/IP, and routing knowledge
