In this role you will lead strategic, data-centric engagements in the Life Sciences space, bridging business goals with technical execution. You will shape architectures, guide governance, and enable high-value solutions across multiple cloud platforms. You’ll drive GenAI assets and POCs tailored to Life Sciences workflows while ensuring compliance and data reuse. You’ll mentor teams, engage C‑suite stakeholders, and own end-to-end delivery in regulated environments. This is a mission to accelerate drug development and commercial analytics through modern data platforms.
Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end data modernization across the Life Sciences value chain (R&D, Clinical Data, Commercial)
- Run discovery workshops to define high-impact use cases
- Shape solutions with roadmaps across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Provide technical governance for critical programs
- Develop GenAI assets and POCs for Life Sciences workflows
- Partner with C-suite and senior stakeholders to align roadmaps with enterprise goals
- Establish best practices for the Life Sciences COE and mentor technical teams
- Perform rigorous code reviews and uphold data governance and reusability
- 20+ years in architecture, development, and big data analytics with Life Sciences experience
- Proven Life Sciences domain expertise in Clinical Data, R&D, and Commercial Analytics
- Strong data modernization, microservices, cloud architecture, and lakehouse pattern knowledge
- Hands-on proficiency with Databricks, GenAI, and Graph Databases (Neo4j)
- Cloud and tools proficiency: AWS, Azure, Airflow, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
- Programming skills in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, and Shell scripting
- Strategic advisory mindset
- Stakeholder management at C-suite level
- Delivery ownership in regulated environments
- Databricks (Spark, PySpark, DLT)
- GenAI (Agent Core, Copilot Studio, Amazon Bedrock)
- Graph databases (Neo4j)
