In this System Architect role, you define and shape Cirrus Logic’s next-generation mixed-signal solutions for audio, haptic, power management and sensing. You will work across design, marketing, and applications teams to capture requirements, assess feasibility, and define architectures for IC/SoC designs. You’ll lead architecture reviews and collaborate with IP, design, and validation to align customer needs with product roadmaps. - Collaborate with customers, marketing, design, software and applications teams to define next-gen solutions for consumer, industrial and automotive markets
- Detail system and performance requirements for ICs and firmware features
- Perform hardware/software trade-off analyses to determine optimal system implementation
- Define architectures for complex IC/SoC designs including power converters, amplifiers, DACs/ADCs, charge pumps, and DSPs
- Lead architecture reviews and participate in IC-level and board-level design reviews
- Coordinate with Design Engineering, Advanced Technology and IP teams on novel solutions
- Contribute to business planning for Analog and Mixed Signal technology
- Communicate ideas and specifications to technical audiences (internal and external)
- Be the technical voice of the customer in portfolio planning and product development
- Understand customer architectures and roadmaps to propose optimal technical solutions
- Stay informed on competitive landscape influencing customer needs
- BEng/MEng with proven experience designing mixed-signal ICs and making IC architectural decisions
- Experience architecting, specifying, and designing low-power, mixed-signal components for multiple markets
- Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal IC design techniques (audio circuits, codecs, low-power design, silicon processes, transducers)
- Broad system-level knowledge across wider application space
