Overview
In questa role you will build and maintain software tools that support AWS network engineering at scale. You will design, deploy, and improve automation and services used by network engineers to operate and grow the cloud infrastructure. You’ll tackle complex system and tooling challenges, performing root-cause analysis and implementing lasting fixes. You will work in an Agile, high-autonomy environment with mentorship from top engineers, contributing to transformative network-powered solutions.

- Maintain and improve services end-to-end for the team, troubleshoot issues and identify root causes
- Design and implement testing, monitoring, and validation to enable smooth deployment of new versions
- Identify opportunities to automate and build tools to reduce manual operations
- Develop software solutions to solve real business and operational problems at scale
- Collaborate with network engineers to deliver reliable network operations and tooling
- Experience programming in at least one modern language (Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust)
- Background in software development, systems engineering, SRE or DevOps
- Knowledge of SDLC best practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build, test, and operations
- Practical understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, HTTP)
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (Linux, host networking, storage)
- Preferred: experience with cloud services on AWS or another cloud platform
