We're supporting the growth of an engineering team delivering a complex software assessment and upgrade programme within a highly regulated aerospace and defence environment.

This opportunity will suit experienced Systems Engineers with a strong background in requirements management, verification & validation, and safety-critical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements capture, analysis and management
  • Requirements decomposition and traceability
  • Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
  • Systems architecture and design support
  • Software assessment and upgrade activities
  • Technical reviews and engineering assurance
  • Production and review of engineering documentation
  • Multi-disciplinary stakeholder engagement
  • Experience using IBM Rational DOORS
  • Knowledge of DO-178B/C
  • Requirements management and traceability
  • Verification & Validation (V&V)
  • Aerospace, avionics, defence or other safety-critical environments
  • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle
  • Cradle
  • MBSE
  • Safety-critical software or hardware programmes
  • Software assurance or certification activities
