System Engineer

In this role you will lead operational analysis for Typhoon mission systems at RAF Coningsby, guiding analysis activities within an embedded team. You’ll build and assure data-processing tools, support flight tests, and provide SME input to safe, effective capability development. • Provide SME support to Typhoon mission and avionics systems
• Lead systems integration and flight test analysis activities
• Develop and assure software tools for data processing, visualization and reporting
• Apply verification and validation techniques to support airworthiness and safety
• Define and support test plans and operational analysis activities
• Supervise and mentor engineers within the analysis team

• Experience delivering technical analysis across the engineering lifecycle
• Proficiency in software development for engineering applications (Python, MATLAB, or C++)
• Background in systems engineering or aerospace engineering
• Experience in safety-critical or regulated environments
